The SPATZ DVIWIZARD is a DVI EDID emulator and DVI repeater, that stores 100 display EDID's and emulates the selected EDID to the attached PC computer. The DVIWIZARD manipulates the DVI source ( PC computer,Laptop) emulating a DVI display (LCD monitor or projector) for continuous video output, even if the attached display is disconnected or powered down.
The EDID presets allow the user to set up any DVI output resolution, regardless of the used projector or monitor.

SWITCHING :

DVIWIZARD is a very handy tool if you want to switch displays without loosing the DVI signal from the source. Most computers will deactivate the DVI output when the monitors EDID is not present.

EDID emulation:

Most PC or DVI sources are reading the EDID of the attaced display and then limit the selectable output resolutions of the graphic card.
The DVIWIZARD allows on the fly change of the EDID creating the information that is necessary for your application.

GENERAL:

The EDID memories 01 to 49 are factory preset, memories 50 to 99 are user programmable and my be burned from any displays EDID information.
Memory 00 is passing the connected displays EDID information.
In addition to the very unique EDID functionality the DVIWIZARD is also capable of equalizing up to 50m of DVI cables at full DVI bandwith of 165Mhz (WUXGA).
At lower resolutions (1080p) we can guarantee 60m of DVI connectivity with our high resolution DVI cables.

Programming device for DVIPAL:

The DVIWIZARD may be used as a programming device for the
DVIPAL  - a cheaper solution for EDID emulation without cable eq.
