The HDMIREP uses a full Silicon Image receiver/transmitter chipset to recover a HDMI 1.3 signal to become a virtually new signal after 30 m of cable attenuation.
The HDMIREPDEC 1.3 accepts HDMI 1.3 input signals from 480i to 1080p and supports HDCP.
The unit may also be used to cascade 2 CAT5 extenders.
Maximum PC resolution is 1920 x 1200p.
HDMIREPDEC has additional audio outputs as 8-channel analog audio or optical digital audio.
It also can provide correct AUDIO EDID information using a switch at the front to force any of the formats available in the HDMI datastream.
