The professional DVI-DXS-8 is a 8-input 8-output DVI crosspoint matrix switcher supporting all DVI-D resolutions coming from PC VGA cards or other DVI-D sources. It supports PC resolutions from 640x480@60Hz to 1920x1200 or 2048x1080 including all HDTV resolutions: 720p, 1080i, 1080p, 2K.
The unit is also available in 4x4, 4x8 and 8x4 versions that can be upgraded in the field with a simple license key.
The DVI matrix router can route 4/8 DVI signals to any 4/8 displays for example LCD monitors, plasma displays or projectors. All outputs support 500mA power on DVI +5V pin to power fiber optical DVI cables.
The DVI Matrix switcher has an advanced EDID management feature, that learns and stores EDID's, and emulates any monitor on it's separate inputs.
A very powerful built in cable EQ can compensate cable runs of up to 50m at highest DVI resoultion.
The unit can be controlled either by RS232 / RS422 port or TCP/IP LAN connection or by built in website.

SOFTWARE UPGRADE

The various configurations can be upgraded to more In/Outputs using a license key that you can purchase from us.
The upgrade is software only and executed using the LAN port and webbrowser. If the unit is connected to Internet the upgrade can be performed remotely.
