| Description
The CAT5TX8 is a 8 input HDMI to 8 output
dual CAT5 transmission device. It must be used with our 2XCAT5RX reciever.
In addition you can expand the transmission distance with
CAT5TRANS reclocker or CAT5RX-ULTRA receiver.
The CAT5TX8 can remotely power the
mentioned CAT5 devices over the CAT5 cable requiring no wall mount adaptors
for the receivers or reclockers.
The CAT5TX8 can drive up to 150ft of 1080i and 100 ft of 1080p with the
CAT5RX. Using the CAT5TRANS and CAT5RX-ULTRA the distance at 1080p can go
over 500 ft using multiple reclockers and 1000ft with 1080i.
HDMI transmissions require always 2 CAT5e cables.
If you use the DVIPAL as an EDID simulator DVI
transmissions are possible with one CAT5e cable.
The unit is rack mountable and has means to fix the HDMI cable so it is
impossible to accidentally pull the HDMI cable.
